My take on the story of Leviathan. Written and recorded during UK lockdown 1. Rudimentally mixed and mastered during UK lockdown 2. Revisited and remixed with new plug-ins during UK lockdown 3 and finally released. I started actually working on more guitar technique during the 3rd lockdown and got better but decided to keep this as is, instead of re-recording. I ended up reading a lot of religious scriptures and watching dissections of the bible (mainly the Book of Job) to get the lyrics. Like to thank my wife, Leah, and my kids, Killian and Remi, for putting up with me listening to these tracks on various systems, and in various states of composition, and giving me feedback. My friend Damien Low, who gave me a bit of his sound engineer knowledge to make it sound less bad. Old school friends, the two Matts, Matt James and Matt Fullwood for their creative criticism and invaluable feedback. Robbie Maguire, from the Facebook Group 'Thrash Metal Album of the Fortnight' for lending me his ears. And lastly, Mike Todd of Scarred by Truth, Juratory and Metalmouth Radio Show on Rocking Fox Radio, and Mel Campbell for giving me the self belief to actually release stuff.
